Sudi
Sudi is a photographic artist based in Tokyo, Japan. Photography came to her about fifteen years ago in her attempts to express her written poetry in a visual from. Her works are featured in photography magazines all over Japan. She focuses in high contrasts between light and shadow, changing everyday scenes into extraordinary scenes. She believes that esthetic experiences can be found in common places and moments that are often ignored. Study captures them from her own perspective, without staging or using artificial lighting. As she says herself: 'It's like something is unconsciously resonating within my inner self. I am not only documenting it , but also capturing the connection between myself and the scene. In this way, I am documenting my own reality.'
