biography

Rasa Anaityte is a Lithuanian architect and photographer, who has been working in the field of architecture since 2011. She holds a master of Science in Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences at the Delft University of Technology and a bachelor of Arts at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. Rasa Anaityte currently lives and works in Antwerp.

Artist Statement:

 信実 Shinjitsu

This series of pictures was taken of Udone-shima, a volcanic, deserted island located in the Philippine Sea approximately 150 kilometers south of Tokyo. Eight photographs depict eight different views of the same island.
